New measures are now being put in place to implement adjusted Curfew hours from 7pm to 5am. Starting tomorrow, Sunday 06th June, 2021, curfew hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. continuing for every weekend, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, until the end of June.
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, made he announcement during his Press Conference held on Saturday 5th June 2021.
PM Rowley also indicated that discussions are currently underway with Caribbean Airlines, with the objective of re-opening our aviation borders within the coming weeks. Responding to questions, the PM hinted that persons may have to be vaccinated in order to travel. However, he indicated, further details will be forthcoming.
The PM also revealed, 800,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson are expected in the country by August.
