U.S Ambassador to Trinidad & Tobago

The US Embassy has cancelled all Non-Emergency VISA interview appointments for the month of May 2021.

In communicating to visa applicants on April 15th 2021, the embassy stated, “Because of the prevalence of Covid 19 cases and to comply with the host country’s physical distancing requirements, the U.S Embassy’s Consular Section is cancelling non-emergency visa interview appointments for next month (May).

Speaking with representatives from JAMAR Business Services of Adventure Road in Point Fortin, who provides assistance for U.S, Canada and other global Visa applicants, Southtrini News was reliable informed that the cancellation of Non-Emergency U.S visa interviews is not expected to affect visa applications for which interview waivers were granted, such as renewal of Visas with expiry dates of less than 48 months.

Persons seeking clarification can visit the Embassy’s website, or contact Jamar’s Visa Assistance Service via telephone (868) 610-6601 or WhatsApp 271-7413.
