Unidentified man dies after being thrown out of vehicle in Cunupia.

A man who was thrown from a vehicle in Cunupia on Thursday night and later died in the hospital has yet to be identified.

The incident occurred around 11:20 pm on August 8, 2024, when the victim was found lying in a pool of blood on Topaz Avenue, Chin Chin Gardens. Police responded to an anonymous call reporting an injured man and discovered the victim, who was still alive but severely wounded.

The man was found bleeding from head injuries, and a bloody spanner was located nearby. Despite efforts by officers, the victim was unable to respond to any questions.

Emergency Health Services transported the man to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt. Hope, where he was treated for significant head trauma. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 1:21 am on Friday.

Investigations revealed that a black Suzuki, with its trunk open, was seen speeding eastward on Topaz Avenue when the victim was thrown out of the back of the vehicle.

The victim was described as a six-foot-tall man of East Indian descent, with a dark brown complexion, a goatee, and a tattoo covering his left arm. He was wearing a white jersey and blue three-quarter jeans at the time he was found.

Authorities are still working to identify the victim.
